Page 1 of buying DVD`s from America

I am interested in buying this Terminator 2 DVD :http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004TRD8/qid=1023100316/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/103-2659847-5520651?tag=myrev09-21 for $19.99 I was wondering how much they would charge me because I understand that they will charge me tax or something if I spend more than a certain amount. I have heard that you can get them to write "gift" on the packaging so that they don`t charge tax. I have never bought anything from American (online) so would appreciate any help that you could provide me.

By the time you have payed for P&P from Amazon it isnt really worth it. Try http://www.play.com or http://www.movietyme.com They are both UK web based companies and sell R1 movies as well as R2. I use them myself regualry. You wont have to worry about Import Tax either.

A lot of companies wont write Gift on a package either if it isnt a gift.

EDIT : Or use cd-wow as Clayts says. they are cheaper than the 2 sites I posted.

if you know someone who lives there or is going there try going to www.bestbuy.com..they have these mad sales every week were theyllpick a movie and reduce it by loads i got the terminator 2 ultimate 2 disc edition and it came in the metal box for $4.98 and it was free postage to because you can buy the items on line then get them sent to one of there many shops all around florida you choose the store you want your order sent to then when you arrive there you just go in the store give them your order code and pick up the dvds..:)
ive just ordered some horror dvds there doing cheap at the minute there doing these special 3 dvd horror packs for $9.99 theyve got a choice of 15 different packs each containing different horror classics unedited too..my last pack i got contained the beyond/house by the cemetary and mountain of the cannibal gods all them for $9.99..:)
