can anyone please help with a region hack for the PowerDvd 3.0 as it has set itself at region 2 after the last dvd I viewed

Hi
Just download DVD Genie off the internet. Available on most good shareware sites.
This will let you set any region you want.
Although, this may not be Power DVD that is setting the region it could be your physical DVD drive, if so you will have to update the firmware of it. Beware firmware downloads can make a DVD drive unusable.

I have Power DVD and what i think is WinDVD (it`s windows DVD), i can only play region 2. I got DVD Genie and havent got a clue what i`m doing. I think my DVDrom is NEC DVD_ROM DV-8500A, can this be set to mult-region and have macro disabled.
