one of the girls read the original books, then this one, and expressed an interest in seeing the films. I thought if she's read the books, then films should be fine, so got the boxset for Christmas for her, but before Christmas day, watched them to make sure they were suitable, and enjoyed them, came to the conclusion Woody Harrelson should be in every film :) She enjoyed them, but said Woody Harrelson was too good looking for the part he plays!

so, quite looking forward to taking her to see this.

I remember when the films came out, there were moans that it was a Battle Royale rip off, well, there are similarities, but then you could probably put Spartacus, Lord of the Flies and various other books and films in similar genre.

I read the trilogy of these years ago, thought they were OK - didn't even know there was a fourth (a prequel it seems)!
