what I meant was, if he had had the money, and the effects had been possible the 2013 film was like the film the very first one would have been. Crazy it cost 17m to make, I don't think he every imagined hee'd have been given that sort of money to make films back then, but like Kevin Smith going from maxing credits cards to directing Hollywood stars :)

enjoyed it a lot, very silly :) and just looked at dvd shelf, must watch Bubba Ho Tep again, not seen that in years, or My Name is Bruce :)

I'd love them to revisit Evil Dead 2 (my favourite) and replace the stop motion with convincing CGI, it's the main thing that dates it (but I love it anyway).

I don't want him to change anything shot wise, insert a scene with an awful Jabba the Hut that looked terrible even then, or make Greedo shoot first!

This was pretty good, it's sort of a homage to various classic horror films in places, including Evil Dead, i.e. it's got a couple of funny scenes, but it's not got the slapstick comedy.
