I have the groovy box set, pretty sure there is a digital copy you can download if you have a decent vpn if you're interested, haven't used the code? well worth it!!

Over last few weeks I've watched 1-3 (have the 1-3 boxset set as well as the Evil Dead Book of the Dead)I enjoyed them, I forgot how different in tone each is to the previous, watched some of the extras as well, funny seeing things done with modelling clay etc :)
I then had to go on YouTube to watch the Theatrical ending to Evil Dead 3, as I hadn't seen that version and it wasn't an extra on the DVD!
Anyway, watched the 4th one tonight (2013) and really enjoyed it, I thought it was interesting as it was more like a sequel to the first one, i.e. it's probably more like the film Raimi would have liked to have done, not many laughs but keeps the same story more or less, but has nice nods to the other films.
So, I can now watch the TV series ready for the new film, I'm sure none of this is necessary to understand what's going on, since each film seems to recap/rewrite bits as necessary, but I have such a bad memory I usually have to rewatch old films/shows when the sequel comes out, which sometimes is good (Mandalorian) sometimes is bad (Saw) ;)
