Went to see this film with the grandchildren. It was live sort of (very photo realistic CGI, almost David Attenborough documentary style).
Really enjoyed the scenery, knew the story from the original, music was superb.
The weird thing was the CGI animals looked so real using this new photo realism method, but were talking and singing. If they had been a less real CGI or a cartoon or even a stage show, talking and singing would seem real, but it did look spooky to me. But the kids loved it, and that's what mattered.
I would recommend watching it, but be prepared for weirdness. LOL.
