Haven`t seen anything of this yet. More brain-dead mayhem aimed at pubescent adolescents with pyromaniac tendencies?

Probably not. This isn`t Transformers.

I saw Rotten Tomatoes comments sections have been put down after death threats to someone who wrote a bad review :s
Probably not directly related, other than there are clearly some nutty Batman (anti?)-fans out there:

The Paris premiere of the movie has been cancelled and all media interviews.  I think WB would be best advised putting this one straight in the vault and taking the loss on the chin.

That`s an absolute crazy statement to make.

Anyway with regards to the film.

Just got back from seeing it and thought it was awesome. Loved it. Faith in Nolan paid off as all the stuff that didn`t do it in trailer worked better in the context of the film.

It`s definitely to be seen as the closing part to a proper 3 parter. Think the whole audience loved it.

One thing that did trouble from the original trailers was not being able to understand Banes voice. That persisted in the film unfortunately. There were quite a few lines of Banes that we just couldn`t make out. You really have to listen really closely when he is speaking.

I`d say that twelve dead and 59 injured is the kind of publicity any movie can do without.  A temporary shelving of the movie until the Holiday season would give the inevitable media feeding frenzy about violent movies inspiring violent acts time to die down.  It would probably improve the box-office if you want to be really cynical.

People are going to remember The Dark Knight Rises as the movie that inspired a medical student to shoot up a family audience.

There, fixed it for you.

There is no evidence that he was inspired by this PG-13 rated movie.

Also, they are not going to shelve the release based on this. That would cost millions of dollars and there is little financial reason to do so given that everyone will be going to see it regardless of the tragedy.

Watched it this morning. Good film. Not sure if it`s the best of the 3, but visually & cinematography, it was top notch.

Bane`s voice is really clear at times, then not so clear at others. The music at times drowned out even some of the other actors voices when talking, but overall, well worth seeing. I thought Hardy & Hathaway were great at Bane & Catwoman.

My only really neg comment, was that there was not enough of Batman in the film.

Got a nice teaser trailer/snippet of Man of Steel before the film began. Interesting to see how that is done.

Decent enough film. Great score. Bit of a lull midway through, but picked up as it went on. Saw the `twists` (if you can call them that) coming a mile away, but that`s not a bad thing. Enjoyed the cameos. Decent conclusion to the series, but I think my favourite is still Batman begins when looked at as a stand alone feature. I`probably need to watch The Dark Knight again though, as I sort of got fed up with all the Ledger hysteria and I haven`t seen it since it was released on BD.

Bloody long, bloody loud, and as it turns ouit, bloody warm. the AC in the theater failed so I got a free ticket to a future showing.

As for the film, bane`s obvious over-dubbing really took me out of the film. For all I know it could have been someone elses` voice entirely. JGL was awesome, I never saw the twist coming, and the finale was breathtaking, even though the epilogue was guessable. It just took so long to get there
