Why have I waited 6 months for Transformers Region 2 on DVD from Play? Apparently the delay was because they had `found the widescreen version` and were adding a commentary and loads of other stuff that wasn`t on the US version. I can`t remember if I read the stuff on here or if Play actually said it was having a commentary and widescreen etc. Why has the version I received today 4:3, without a commentary? Can anyone shed some light please? RR

The list of extras and features shown on most sites was NOT the official list of extras, it was Mavericks wish list.
Reports say they managed to find the widescreen version but it was of such poor quality that they wouldn`t have got away with using it even on VHS.
They have spent all this time attempting to license the extras but it became impossible to complete so they had to release it.
