GhostRider R2 - Two discs or not two discs

PETER P (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 19th June 2007, 19:21

HMV are advertising an exclusive 2 disc edition of Ghostrider - most other sites have it listed as 1 disc - but Play seem to have all the extras from the 2 disc edition listed - are HMV using some artistic licence with the description (is the exclusive edition just the usual exclusive cover) or are all the other retailers really only getting 1 disc editions

I ask because I finally gave up on cdwow ever delivering the R3 2 disc edition that I ordered

Some sites are reporting it as having two discs with a lot of extras, but I can tell you for a fact that the version on Sony`s PR site only lists one disc and two commentaries on the rear of the artwork. There may be an exclusive version, but I`ve not seen art or confirmed specs for it. There seems to be a lot of misinformation about this title for some reason.

Don`t bother with either. There are not many films I switch off halfway through and chuck in the bin! :¦

Nah sorry been emptied - anyway it wasn`t an original copy. Don`t get me wrong the effects I loved - the storyline was crap and Nic Cage - oh well!

So far I`ve been given three separate sets of specs for this title. It appears it is two discs, but the UK extras are different from the US ones, which strikes me as suspect. I can`t see that the likes of Cage, Arad and de Luca would record a commentary just for the UK. The Sony site makes no mention of them, just the producer and VFX guy. HMV exclusive artwork is quite good though.
