!!! I had a flick back through this thread, funny how many times I've mentioned, and others have mentioned Elf! It's so good. You should watch that and Bad Santa in same day to go back to neutral :)

The missus was saying the other day Trading Places is her favourite Christmas film.

After watching an interesting Bill Murray documentary on Sky Arts the other night, I will be watching Scrooged and Groundhog day.

Did not realise the amount of films that he has made.
He always seemed to have that mad cap humor.

I'm tempted by the Nakatomi tower but I could probably recite the dialog from memory.
Seen Elf but not one I'd go back to.
Watched the animated Grinch last year, BIG disappointment.

My son, a cynical 24 year old no idea where he gets that from, tells me Christmas Chronicles

they watched Nativity! 2 yesterday while I was upstairs working, lots of laughter, so I guess they enjoyed it.

So today, we are watching Nativity! Again, as it's on CBBC even though we have the dvd!

Unpopular opinion. Elf is a really terrible film.

James Caan is the weirdest casting as the reluctant father - half the time I'm expecting him to call Ferrell a motherf***er and pull a gun on him.

I maintain it would be a better film if Caan shot Elf in his stupid face.

Robee I saw it it was funny hope you enjoy
It. I don’t feel like being festive this year at all.
There was a lovely lady singing Christmas
Songs which I was saying to my husband
Oh she has a strong good voice, suddenly
I felt overwhelmed with sadness I started
to cried none stop, because of all the deaths
of coronavirus innocent people..
Feel to much sadness 😔
