Caught The Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machine this morning, broadcast in HD. Not out on Blu-ray mind, so that was a bit of a treat.

Will be watching the Doctor Who Christmas special which is now on New Years day, so at least I will stay awake for it this time, as i fall asleep after xmas dinner.

Last year seven of us were sleeping round the telly, stuffed! 

I've watched Bad Santa, Bad Santa 2, and Gremlins 2, which in my head is an xmas movie by proxy!

I did Gremlins, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Batman Returns and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies... I was going to see the 30th Anniversary release of Die Hard at the cinema, but I had my lad over for the night and couldn't make it, hence watching the terrible old Fox BD.

Not watched the usual Santa Claus the Movie this year as it didn't seem right.

Watched the live action 'Junglebook' on TV the other night.

I saw it at the cinema a while back and was not that impressed, especially the way they re-mixed the original songs.But now after watching the second time it seemed a lot better. Plus a few beers helped.

Anyway, made a change to watching 'a white bearded guy in a red suit' type of film

Maybe not quite a movie but a 70 minute documentary that I watched the other day and very interesting if you like the guy...'The Bill Murray stories', he of Ghostbusters fame.

Although he was a main Hollywood actor and his net worth was estimated at over £150 million at last count, he liked to occasionally mingle with the public and just surprise them by turning up out of the blue and interact with them, at parties, at resturants, at pubs, on the sports ground, etc.

Hard to say why he did it, either for the fun of it surprising people, or was a bit on the lonely side like a lot of comedians, but the documentary shows a lot of legendary myths and true stories of his antics off screen.

Worth watching, just to see Bill Murray being one of the guys.

the kids watched Nativity! yesterday, it's on CBBC today so they're watching it again, and I am for first time, it's pretty good :)
