Still only Region 1 though?
You can get the entire series in one box now. Alas, only Region 1.

why is that a problem?

-buy multiregion dvd machine
-purchase said items from states - theyre still cheaper thasn uk dvds even factoring in shipping

I buy quite a few discs from other regions but i never buy R1 box sets because they often require you to pay custom charges. Also, most of the R1 sites I shop with (playusa, etc) seem to charge more money for box sets than uk sites. can anyone advise me of any sites where i can buy american tv series, like OZ for a reasonable price?

Nah, I never buy Region 1 unless I am 100% sure it will never come out on Region 2 (or 4).
NTSC is rubbish (opening up a can o` worms).
