Does anyone know if i will have any problems with watching a knights tale on my phillips 701 dvd player i have been told that the R1 version is region coding enhanced meaing i may have problems playing it on a hacked dvd player is this true as i am not keen on wasting the money if i am unable to play it.

I have spoken to a nice man at play247 he said it is rce but he could not tell me if it would play or not play on my dvd player so i am not sure if i should risk buying the dvd.

If your DVD has a remote control hack , then at worst all you will have to do is set it to be Region 1 and it will work.

Knights Tale is RCE so it all depends on whether your player can play RCE discs or not.
