Life on Mars

So what do you guys think of this series? I just discovered it on one of the download sites. Do you think it is good or is it all gimmick?

Not being into the Olympics and network fare, I was looking for something different and entertaining to watch and I found this gem.

Admittedly I`m not from the UK so I am not familiar with what police tactics were like int he early 1970s. But I am finding the show easy to follow.

Hello Autumn, was going to say welcome, but I see you have been here 3 years. Where you from? The common conception of the British police of the 70`s is that they would bend the rules to get someone for the crime. This is due to some high profile miscariges of justice that have come to light. How much it was like that I do not know. It is fun though.

All the best,

Dr 42%er.

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

Thanks for the replies/ I wasn`t sure where tio put the inquiry, now I know tv stuff goes under General.

And to answer Dr. 42%er I make my home in California, just outside Frisco. Not strangers to cop shows here. I`d like to think we were home to one of the best ever made...Streets of San Francisco.

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...
