Just watched The Score and it was total schecht. I think the last time De Niro made a half decent film was Ronin, what do you say?

Um .... has NEVER made a half decent film (IMHO)?

Nah he`s never made a good film, but he`s acted in lots of them. That said, I reckon Ronin was the last decent thing I saw him in (chronologically speaking).

i have seen a great deal of his movies and personally I dont rate him all that highly, he has starred in a few decent movies but is mostly overated. I would even go as far as to say that I think that Mr Tom Cruise is a far better actor

Seriously though, I`m a big fan of "Goodfellas" & "Casino" and I think he was pretty good in those. He also played a fantastic part in "Awakenings". And then there`s "Cape Fear"

He`s also done some really, really bad parts (e.g. Frankenstein, The Adventures Of Rocky & Bullwinkle).

Looking forward to "Meet The Fockers" though, he played a good supporting role in the first one.

Taxi Driver? The Deer Hunter? Raging Bull? The Godfather Prt. II? Once Upon A Time In America? Heat? Jackie Brown? He`s appeared in, and been bloody amazing, in some of the best filsm ever made (and I`ve left out the ones I haven`t seen or that have already been mentioned). Sure he`s made some crap, mostly his `comedy` roles, but on his day he is oen of the finest actors around. Next you`ll be saying Pacino is s***!
