Does anyone have an lg3200e and can they play RCE disks??
thanks
Unless you set the hack to region 0 and try it, I haven`t as yet but will soon, hopefully and will post. I know that the LG3350 doesn`t suffer from RCE.

Shouldn`t matter Vern, if it doesn`t work on R0 (and it should) just set the player hard to R1 etc. (if RCE gets to other regions)
AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
If you manage to set your DVD to region 0 then RCE disks will NOT work. This is how RCE works. The only way to get round RCE is to set the region to that of the disk.

Not quite true Andy, many players can beat RCE even in R0 mode, the Aiwa 370 and LG 3350 to name but two.
>"This is how RCE works. "
Again, not quite true. RCE sends a command to the player to check if the player has been modified or is a non r1 machine, and this in turn tell s the player which chapter to play next. If it gets the "modified" response, it plays chapter 12, the "Region Map" and locks up the player that the disc must be ejected.

The only way to sure fire absolutely not fail to get around RCE on almost any player you mean...except for those that still come up as "modified"
AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!!
