Page 1 of problem with liverpool fc official history dvd

hi,got the liverpool fc dvd this morning.its plays fine on my brothers xbox and my dvd laptop,but won`t play on a samsung 709 downstairs,it plays on my dansai 852 but the picture is awful.
the disc is clean.when played on my laptop it downloaded sofware called PCFriendly DVD software,could this be the problem ??
any other idea`s ??

PC Friendly is just DVD playing software for the PC and downloading (or installing) this will have nothing to do with it not playing on your samsung and dansai.

With the Dansai, are other DVDs playing ok? It sounds to me like your running it through your VCR and its bad quality due to Macrovision. Dunon why it owunt play on the Samsung as these football DVDs are always wither region 2 or 0 (it is a region 2 player is it?), on some rare occasions DVDs just don`t play.

Still, good luck in sorting it. I`m sure you`ll enjoy the Official History DVD a lot more than the 2003/4 Season Review DVD - mind you, I can`t say much, I`m a Leeds fan! :)

yeh i ordered 2 other football dvd`s at same time and they play ok.the picture when its plays on the dansai is like its breaking up but a chapter with still pictures on it is ok.
any other idea`s people ??
