Is this TV comedy series avail. on DVD. Have had a brief look but got disheartened as I was expecting to find it straight away. Pete :)

No mate it`s not available on DVD. I remember seeing a documentary on the life of Leslie Neilsen on Biography and it mentioned that Police Squad was a ratings flop in the States and the show was taken off the air mid-season. Could be the reason why Paramount (?) haven`t released it yet. Pity really, `cos it deserves special-edition treatment.

They did release them on VHS a few years ago - with the success of the Naked Gun films it is a surprise they haven`t come out. Only 6 episodes were ever made - 3 per tape.
