Just watched it......my advice don`t bother the film is "pox".
So predictable and unscary.

I thought it was quite good. Maybe a few too many references, but still an enjoyable film. It`s nice to see a virus as the killer, rather than a guy in a mask or jumpsuit ;)

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong it is ;-)
Agreed about the virus but IMHO too much in the old teen movie strain. Also very very predictable. No atmosphere either.
though it did have some humour

I quite enjoyed it.
Could have done with being a bit scarier though.
I enjoyed it, too.
Certainly not as good some of the reviews would have us believe, but fun nontheless. In fact, I wasn`t too keen when I first watched it, but something made me go back and watch it again. Second time around, I found it far more entertaining. Good no-brainer!
"Stan is my best friend at church"
I liked it, thought it was a really enjoyable horror movie; had a decent ending too.
I liked the way it was directed in particular - it seems that Eli Roth wasn`t scared to try anything. One of the most memorable horror films for me, of recent times.
Roth certainly loves horror, you get that from the commentaries and behind the scenes stuff. Someone give this man a zombie movie to work with!
Did anyone watch the Rotten Fruit thing on the DVD though? One twisted f*cker...
You do get the feeling the director knew exactly what he was doing. The first half is seamlessly suspenseful horror (save maybe the ninja albino) the last half is shamelessly camp Z-list sitcom pulp irony. It probably makes sense in his head, chances are it doesn`t in anyone else`s, apart from maybe some good humour and a slick line in palpable six-pack gore-hound schlock for the pizza-gouging crowd.
