Page 1 of T3: Rise of the Machines
DVDs & Films Forum
Have just seen T3 for £8.99 on Movietrak, and was wondering what people`s opinion of the film as a whoel and the DVD are. I have The Terminator Collection as I enjoyed the first 2 movies a lot, so, at £8.99, is it worth it?

The commentary with Arnie and co is a bit of a let down. Schwarzenegger is one of those people that like to describe what is on the screen. Mostow`s solo commentary is a lot better though :)
The other extras are very standard "making of" fare. Good, but nothing special.
The film is a very good summer blockbuster, plenty of action and a fast pace. But it`s nowhere near as good as the first two films. But still, I enjoyed it :)

RE: T3: Rise of the Machines
I agree with chewie on this one, not in the same league
as the first 2. :/
Just don`t expect too much from it and i suppose you won`t
be so dissapointed with it.
can`t grumble for £8.99 tho`

RE: T3: Rise of the Machines
A bargain for less than a tenner. Not as good as the first two films but there is plenty of action and good special effects. Because T3 was not directed by James Cameron like the previous two, the movie does feel different in comparison, maybe it`s me, but I feel it lacked something, possibly due to the dumbing down of hollywood films of late.
cervantes.
A good, solid action flick - would have been better with Cameron, yes, but with what was left of the story`s direction they did well. I have the DVD but haven`t watched it yet...too many others! :-)
