Page 1 of Indy Boxset - Temple of Doom cut? R2 vs. R1/4

does anyone know if `Temple of Doom` is cut in the R2 boxset, but uncut in either R1 or R4? Xmas is coming and it`s on my list - just want to know which version to get...

Regions 1 and 4 are uncut. Region 2 is cut.

Have to wait til 04th November to find out if the European release (ie France) R2 is cut.. the french may not have followed the british film board.. soon as I have the boxset, I`ll post the results.

Editions of Indy in Croatia and Bosnia are uncut R2.

Just wanted to let you know this.

It looks like the R2 UK version is the only one CUT. The french/swiss versions are uncut, as is the Dutch/Finnish (read this on other posts). So blame the BBFC for cutting it in the 80`s.

I have never seen the Uncut version so watching the cut movie doesn`t make any difference.

what exactly did they cut?

Mola Ram pulls out the heart of the poor fecker in the cage and then lowers him into the lava for him to fry.. and another bit with short round.. haven`t gotten round to watching it all but did check that it was uncut once I got it home. It does make TOD a darker movie. Everyone who slags off TOD usually only watched the CUT version.

No cuts in Region 2, it seems to me. Well, I saw enough (too much!) to know quite well what was going on. Unfortunately.
