HELP! Back to the Future Trilogy Problem! Anyone else had this? (Disc One)

Hi there,
Hoping someone can shed some light onto this.

I`m using a Goodmans GDVD101R DVD player.

Whenever I try to watch "Back to the Future" from the box set with DTS sound, I get a strange glitch with the picture. The lower half of the picture seems out of synch sometimes, and can jump. Also, grey/black rectangles appear across the lower section of the picture. You can see through them, they just mess up the contrast of the picture at the bottom.

(Two examples: Right at the start, with the clocks; and the barn scene just after he goes to 1955).

I`ve watched the movie with the standard sound option, and the problem is not there in the two scenes I have mentioned.

NB: I have since watched other films with DTS (Eg: Terminator 2), and had no such problems.

So, is this a known problem with the disc? Or am I "special"?

Thanks,
ilpostino
EDIT: They`re the version 1 discs, and they`re Region 2

With a DTS problem it should only be sound related not picture. The best way to find out is to try it on another (type) of player, a friends for instance. 8)
