I have a Philips DVD Recorder (Model 1000). When I record TV programmes on to a DVR+R it plays fine. However when I finalise the disc to enable me to play it on other equiment I get a "disc error" message or "unknown data on disc". As a result the disc wont play at all and I have to throw it away. This has happened several times. Can anyone know what is going wrong and how can I overcome this problem? Thanks
