Is it worth me paying £3 more for the region 1 version?

I see it has about 7 mins extra. What did they cut out of the R2?

Who`s the cheapest to buy from? Play247 say "shipped in 24 hours" Is this believable? I don`t what to wait long.

I went to the site but the information conflicts with what it says at play247?

1. Is the message from Steven Spielberg on the R2?

2. It says about the R2 "THIS FILM HAS NOT BEEN CUT FOR UK RELEASE". Play247 list the film as 7 mins longer on R1?

Who`s right? I dont need DTS.

WHSmith on Sky Open have SPR for £8.49+p&p. For that price I`d get R2!

I have seen both the R1 and R2 versions (brother lives in NY) - there is no visible difference. They have identical features too. The time difference is probably due to the NTSC/PAL issue. I think 60 mins of NTSC compresses into 57 or 58 of PAL - SPR is an awfully long movie. Get the cheapest. Only thing is - you can get the US DTS version for the same as the US DD version on play247.

And "24 hrs" is referring to the order being posted I think - got a few from there and it takes about 5 days to come through. The xmas rush must`ve caught mine. Frasn-rasn #@!?& xams post!
