Page 1 of LotR Extended, which Region?

I`m thinking Region 2, because I prefer PAL.

But is there any content difference between the various regions?

See the review on this site by Papa Tom regarding the sound quality of the R2 disc. I dont know how significant this is as i have R1 version.

R2/4 have a messed attempt at pitch correction, this causes all sorts of audio problems including pops noticable on the DD track and even more noticable on the DTS track.
