Wonder if anyone can help me, i downloaded an AVI file last night and can only play the audio and not the video. this happened to me a couple of months back and i had to get MP43 codec which sorted the problem out. Obviously it cant be the same problem im having now because im still using the mp43. I know this file actually works coz my mates have it.

Does anyone have any idea hoe i can sort this out.

Thanx in advance

I had same problem to, tried the above but they didn`t work, I got around it by using the DivX codec, you download the codec and player from http://www.downloads.com you get the codec and a DivX player but I find the audio runs a little out of sync so use Media Player, which automatically selects the DivX codec then picture and audio are perfect.
