I have just bought the above software, that tells me I can copy dvds with my cdr writter, does anyone have any information about this software, or other software that does the same job, does it do what it says, and is it on par with a dvdrw ?.

NO it wont let you copy TO a DVD via your cd writer. It will aloow you to make a VCD from your DVD. Lots of free software that can do this too.
