From Wed 29th to Tues 11th June Makro are doing the Minolta dimage e203 for £150 exc VAT (still £30 cheaper than internet cameras direct). It is a 2.0 mega pixel with 3 x optical zoom. Cant find critic reviews but customer reviews on ICD give it 4/5

Note that it takes Multimedia card memory which is dearer and not as easy to get hold of as SmartMedia or CompactFlash.
If you are considering the Minolta `cos of the low price then take a look at the Olympus C220Z at http://www.cameras-at-lowest-prices.co.uk for £170 inc delivery. The C220Z got a Highly Recommeded award in the July 2002 issue of Personal Computer World mag.
