Can't say I want one myself (Too low spec) but the Toys R Us web site has a Apollo P2100 USB Printer for £25- cheap enough if you want it as a second printer or for the kids to do homework on

It`s a con. You do or at least did only get one Half full colour cartridge. Some box`s contained a USB cable, if they didn`t Toys`R`us would kindly offer to sell you one for £8 (£1-£2 at local computer shop).

The biggest part of the con is that replacement cartridges are £25 each and compatables £15 each.

They`ve stopped doing that instore.

The ones that came with USB cables were mistakes. The warehouse ordered the wrong ones in :)

It did come with both cartridges though...after a few weeks anyway. Started with just the colour I think.

I havent read 2 much into this printer but what i would rather buy for a quick 2nd printer is one which pc world r doin for £28.99. The Lexmark Z23 E looks ok and im sure its better then the Apollo. Its res is 2400 x 1200 dpi. I have the lexmark 3200 and the black and colour cart cost around £30 pound each so for doin normal work its not bad. But its on offer so be quick. If anyone does buy it plz let me know how it is, Cheers

If you are doing mainly Black and White printing and using more than three carts a year consider getting yourself a Laser.

I did just that last week after putting it off for months (and two Black ink carts later).

http://www.dabs.com/zgjfc £116 inc VAT and free delivery. Comes with one starter toner - good for 1000 pages and a FREE second Full toner good for 2500-3500 pages. Excellent print quality, sharp text and very dark even in Toner Saver mode. Toners are around £43 - twice the cost of a black ink cartidge but a damn site more number of printed pages.
