ok here is the bargin of the week , just popped down to my local electrical stores (CURRYS, COMET, APOLLO 2000 etc) to have a look at the SHARP DV740H ,all priced up at £179.99 .(well thats not a bargin is it) So i go into my local T.J.HUGHES (WOLVERHAMPTON IN THE UK) and BLOW ME DOWN, THERE WAS ABOUT 50+ DV740H players for a BARGIN PRICE OF £129.99 YEP YOU READ IT RIGHT £129.99` AND THATS NOT ALL YOU ALSO GET 3 DVD`S FOR FREE (WHICH YOU HAVE TO SEND OF FOR) YOU GET TO CHOOSE FROM 6 TITLES (VERTICAL LIMIT---FACE OFF---GONE IN 60 SECONDS---101 DALMATIANS--- DINOSAUR---OR THE CORRS LIVE)

RRP is £180 (i.e. what rip-off merchants like Currys and Comet are selling them for), http://www.multiregionmagic.co.uk do them for £150 with the hack applied, and as Jimmy states, T J Hughes have the best price at the moment for £130.

In all cases the three free DVDs applies until 31/12/01. although I think this may be extended to 31/01/02.

Nice player, based on an existing Sampo design,(the US-only DVE611) with a Sharp designed front end.

Only problem is : first Sampo player not to have component out : that`s what stopping me buying one :-(

but as for using ezboard for your forum, in my opinion and probably that of many others, they want to know too many personal details when signing up (Address, Annual Household Income Before Taxes,
Marital Status etc,) which are not relevant when posting questions and answers on a site discussing DVD players. So I declined to sign up. Sorry!

Yes, the US version does, so there is nothing to suggest the UK version won`t as well.
