I am not a kitkasher, but the mods have given it the all clear. From the first page of this years Kitkash thread Quote:
Okay, THIS will be the Kitcash 2006 Forum thread. We`ve even amended the definition of the Forum to take it into account ! Given last years experience, the thread will probably bounce around at the top of the Forum, and we don`t particularly want that happening on the General Forum.

Forum regulars : Please don`t wave your pitchforks. These people have as much right to be here if they want to be. Some of last years` posters have migrated to other forums and cubjects now. If you don`t want to participate then leave the thread alone !

Now, where can I get one of these NOPE`s you are talking about and are they a bargain.

All the best,

Dr 42%er.

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

NOPE`s are the ultimate bargain - they are free.

Just ask anyone to give you £20 without the promise of you ever returning it. They`ll give you a nope everytime. If you ask for more they`ll give you some more valuable words none of which can be put on here due to the swear filter :D :D :D

First time round I asked what the bargain was. My main complaint was that it had gone way off topic and was so long you could not read it from the start if you were new to it. They were the reasons the beloved (by some) "there must be more to life than this" thread got closed. Now I just don`t read it. I posted in the new one welcoming them back and hopeing they would join in the rest of the site. Two threads now take up space on the bargain forums that are not. The Kitkash one only takes up one space. Think about it.

The thing is a lot of stuff here (but not all) aren`t bargains either - just look at the abundance of sub £100 DVD recorders and £600-£700 inferior quality 32 inch LCD TVs. Something being sold at today`s market price doesn`t seem a bargain either. I remember somebody posting a half priced laptop from Woolworths and claiming it was a bargain - it was 2 year old technology but maybe retailers are to blame for sensationalising this rubbish.
