Page 1 of VODAFONE FREE PAYG CREDIT

This is doing the rounds at work today. Haven`t tried it myself as I`m not on vodafone

Send a blank text to 9783 and receive £5 credit, it`s even free to text the number apparently.

This can be sent as often as you like, credit takes between 7-10 days to credit your phone.

THIS ONLY WORKS ON VODAFONE

sounds like a scam be aware people.
most likely deducts £5 from your PAYG balance.

As far as I know it is not a scam, loads of people have been doing it in work all day check your balance before and after you try it. It`s apparently free to text to as well.

Text a full stop (.) to 9783.

Texts cost no more than standard text charge (12p depending on tarriff)
Topup will be added to your mobile in 7-10 days to use however you like.

Call 15191 for T&C`s....

1. Your Free Top Up will be no less then £2.50 and no moor than £10.00
2. You must Follow text instructions by 23:59 on 13th may 2005
3. You will be notified by text
4. Non Transferable. and By invitation only
5. No Cash Alternative

i stand corrected. it probably isn`t a scam. doesnt compensate voda customers from being charged an extra 2p per text message!!!! I went with orange for that very reason 6 years ago and have been with them since.
