There are some good bargains there at the moment.

I was nearly tempted by an air conditioning unit for £119 but it`s a bit late now though as summers over but I did buy a petrol strimmer for £44.98 ( was £79.99 ) and it`s much better than any electric one you could buy for that money.

i hate B & Q with a passion over the last 2 weeks every time i go there they don`t have what i need, i mean how can you have a D.I.Y store that cant make up any colour paint you want because they don`t have any white paint base pots and the guy says "today is tuesday we should get some on saturday" then i go round the corner and the wood cutting service is closed because the saw has broke down "how long until its fixed please ?" i ask, " should be tomorrow (wednesday) but they said that on friday when it just stopped working"

gd2 mine was the only one left at the Macclesfield store with a sticker saying, clearance today was £15.00 now £7.50 on it, so I was just lucky im afraid it depends what your store wants to clear as to what you have on offer they had a surge protector extension lead lots of electrical cable and door handles and the air conditioners and some other bits around the store so it`s a case of checking to see whats on offer and do you really need it.

gd2 You appear to think im telling porkies why would I start this post, I have a reciept and can provide a photo as it`s still in the plastic cover, but the bargain is all items of the clearance at your local store I was very lucky to get this you may have found something else of interest and been lucky too.Point them to this website and complain as mine was definately £7.50 sounds a bit naughty of B&Q to me.If you really want one the price for this on most websites is around £20 delivered so it`s still cheap at £15.I can recommend them as I have used my brothers.Yes he is p-ss-d off too as he paid £25 for his last year. But then I should have bought the Tapwave pda he got for £89 I told him to get it from Curry`s, then I found I had waited too long and they had sold out. The moral is you win some - you loose some. I`ve had some good deals off this site thanks to all for their input and if I see things I think are bargains i`ll keep posting them.

Far from it, I was just hoping you had some proof as the store said if I had it, I could get it at that price. Sorry if I gave that impression. Cheers
