It`s the Venturer PVS-1090 9 ins Widescreen Portable DVD Player - comes with case, leads, etc. for using in-car.

Looks a lot better than the standard Venturer models, but only 2 hour battery life (partly attibutable to the larger screen), the slightly more expensive 8" Fuergson (hack available) or Goodmans players at Dixons\Currys, one of which comes with two 2.5 hour batterys which would work out better on longer\frequent journeys.

Expect some loss of quoted battery life over time.

ASAP after use run them until unit is completely dead & only charge them so they are ready at the time of departure.



I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.
