This offer was around a while back, is it genuine? Did anyone take it? I`ll probably go for it this time (can`t remember why I didn`t last time!) It`s not the greatest lads mag around, but for this price........

I`m currently on this subscription, and although it`s not a great mag, for less than a Sunday Newspaper you can`t grumble

I took up the last offer. It`s genuine. Unfortunately, the magazine is worse than rubbish! I don`t even bother reading it anymore.

I`m on the 24 issue Maxim offer as well and the magazine is bleeding awful! It`s so poorly written - it`s like some work experience snotty kid who`s never had sex makes up random rubbish. FHM looks like a work of Shakespeare by comparison. As people have said, just look at the pictures (including the free DVD they throw in occasionally) - the text is a joke.

I suspect this 24 issue Maxim offer is a stunt that they`ve left running for ages now (7 or 8 months ?) so that they can increase their overall "readership" ("viewership"?) and claim that they`re the best-selling lads mag in the world (which they`ve put on their masthead a few times since the offer started). The entire editorial staff needs to be sacked though - that Boring Barnacle and Monster stuff is childish and the photo captions are very weak efforts to be sarcastic.

I took it out last time, and it`s legit, but in retrospect, not even worth the money!

Totally agree with this. The magazine is probably the worst lads mag around at the moment. The thing is it was a lot better a year or so ago. I skim through it each month but its in the recycle bin within a day or 2.

I took this up about a year ago and yep I agree aswell - total waste of money. The magazine is complete garbage and goes straight in the bucket.

I phoned them up after i had recieved the first 2 issuses and demanded a refund, it is an awful magazine.
