Just bought myself a PSP and also fancied a DS, so I went into my local Virgin Megastore, asked for a DS, then at the checkout quote "Virgin, the home of hand held gaming" and was then given a free Super Mario DS game cartridge as well as a voucher sheet knocking £25.00 off DS games. Bargain!!

I tried it on my way to the bus this evening. Virgin in Nottingham said they hadn`t heard of it and even called the manager to see if he`d heard of it.
They said if i could show them the offer in the in-flight magazine then they`d honour the deal.
So, as i have no magazine, can`t get the offer.

Guys! This is NOT a wind up!! When I first heard about it last week on another forum, I thought "ho hum" myself, but I got the deal on Monday by doing exactly as described, geez, there was even a barcode "DS Free Game Discount" - £29.99 the cashier scanned. Chewie says it has run since the launch in November, but last week was the 1st time I heard of it.

I`m not disputing it doesn`t exist.
I`m just warning people that the store may not have heard of it and in which case they won`t honour it.
Maybe it isn`t running at all stores.
If anyone has anymore info on it, or a copy of the original piece in the virgin magazine i`d really appreciate it.
Thanks anyway to fred7 for the original post - just wish i could take advantage of it.
