There is a new UK oriented VCD site with some brilliant opening offers expecially on boxsets. Batman collection $26 Planet of the apes $54 Star Trek collection $35. There is a 10% discount on orders upto 30/6/2001. If this site is sucessfull then a UK £`s billing account will be set up so we can all pay in £`s

Cool VCD are a well respected Asian firm, so this is great news that they`ve opened up an outlet specifically for UK customers.

Prices seem reasonable, and they do appear to be the real McCoy (VCDs that is !).

Note that if you buy three VCDs you can get a freebie from their Bargain Bin.

Is the trilogy worth buying on VCD? I`ve never actually watched one before, and I was wondering if picture/sound quality is superior enough (to VHS) to warrant a purchase...

If so, how much is it likely to set me back? Anyone?

Stupid question but do VCDs work with all DVD players?
I have a Samsung 511. Can I watch them?
Also, was under the impression that VCDs were illegal and poor quality, can someone set me straight?
Thanks
