Just bought a D70 with 18-70DX online with Dixons. Web price was £749 but there are some discount vouchers around and I managed to get it for £715.
Took advantage of buy now pay in 12 months. Paid £71.50 now and will apply for £100 cashback. Therefore initial cost is -£28.50 ;)
Just have to find the other £643 this time next year. :D

FWIW I did the same thing and then found out that Dixons had reduced it to £729.99 before I even received it. Emailed them about it and they refunded the difference to my card. I also used the DCBYAW code and got the initial 5% off too. Might be worth sending them an email as you get 14 days to send it back anyway so in theory you could send it back and reorder if they want to be awkward..
