Went to my local Aldi yesterday 28/12/04 and was told by the manager that they received 10 sets and were all gone the day before in the first couple of hours of opening and when asked if they were receiving more he said no.But they did have the 17in in stock at £299.

I was lucky to get one of these sets, I was on holiday in Gran Canaria, while sun bathing around the pool, I saw the advert in the paper, call my aunt who had an Aldi just down the road from her at Thamesmead and she queued up next next to get one of the six available. Got it home yesterday and first impressions are very high. I have not yet had a chance to get it up and running yet but from what I read it should be great value for money.

PS. can anyone suggest where I can get a resonable priced glass stand for this set? Thanks.
