For all you Londoners - BOGOF Boxsets

sonofhal (Competent) posted this on Friday, 3rd December 2004, 18:29

Hi all,
Game are currently running a buy one, get one free on selected boxsets. Unfortunately (or fortunately for us) the smart staff in the Oxford Street store have labelled up ALL the boxsets as being in the offer - chip in with a mate and get 2 star wars trilogy sets for 32.99 - or maybe 2 office triple packs for 29.99. Too many bargains to list - grab em before someone notices the mistake (got 2 OC season one boxsets myself!!)

Guess where I pass every Friday night. :(

If Mac users are "more intelligent than the average computer user," why do they need an operating system designed for complete idiots?

I would split the difference for a SW - Trilogy (Widescreen) if the offers still open, thanks Nina (I expect its a bit late now).

I went to bed early as I had to be up for a laptop @ £299 at the new Staples opening, didnt get the laptop :( , but I did get a 19" Sony TFT for £249. :D

What a bloody waste of time that was! >:(

Went down there and the store was all over the place, it took me ages to even find where all the boxsets where and when I did half of them were damaged and the only decent titles they had left were Smallville S1, The OC (box was knackered) and that was it. The SW trilogy I guess they picked up on that because that was priced at £32.99 no BOGOF sticker was on it and I even checked at the counter and they said it wasn`t. The rest was all overpriced anyway, most of the stuff you can get on-line for cheaper.

Cheapest I got for Star Wars Trilogy was in buy 1 get 1 half price at Woolworths on-line. £27 on-line so just under £21 each if you get 2. That reminds me to check their wesbite for latest chart offers. Delivered in 3 days.
