December mobile contract bargains (T610, 7600, P910i, S700i)

Hi Guys,

Although it`s probably too early to tell what new contract mobile phone offers will be available this month (some retailers take a few days to let their new commission levels for the month to sink in before deciding what to offer their customers by way of cashback) one or two old favourites have already resurfaced and I thought I`d give you an early heads-up in case they prove to be very short lived offers:

Sony Ericsson T610
BT 100 + 50 SMS (normally £25/month)
£4.99/month for the first TWELVE months
Year 1 cost of only £60
The first 6 months will be charged at £9.99/month by BT Mobile
Cashback claimable in two stages after 6 and 12 mnths (£75.03 each time)
Retailer: E2Save
Non-affiliate URL: http://makeashorterlink.com/?W26512309

Nokia 7600
3 Talk & Text 600 (normally £30/month)
£4.99/month for teh first TWELVE months
Year 1 cost of only £60
The first 3 months will be charged at £15/month by 3
Cashback claimable in two stages after 6 and 12 mnths (£105 & £150)
Retailer: Carphone Warehouse
Non-affiliate URL: http://makeashorterlink.com/?L28D25AB9

As CPW & E2Save are inextricably linked, keep an eye on their respective sites, the T610 deal could eventually appear on CPW`s site and vice versa for the 7600 deal.

FOOTNOTE: Unfortunately, as I had feared, E2Save have now pulled all of their market-leading Orange contract deals from November and replaced them with something inferior in terms of year 1 cost. However, there are still some good Orange contract deals around elsewhere - see my Orange contract mobiles tables for details of what might still be available:

(Please excuse the work-in=progress nature of this page - I`m slowly trying to improve the site as we speak)

In addition to the above great deals, I came across the following which makes me wonder whether another retailer hasn`t fallen foul of typographical gremlins:

Phones4U are giving away Sony Ericsson P910i handsets for FREE on the O2 200 + 50 SMS tariff (only £30/month). As far as I can tell, it is still only 12 months minimum term. Therefore, you could get yourself one of these handsets for the grand sum of only £360 (compared to the CHEAPEST SIM-free price of £460) and have 12 months airtime provision for free.

As there is no cashback involved in this deal, it seems like a no brainer to me for anyone who has been looking to get this handset as cheaply as possible!

P910i now listed as OUT OF STOCK.

However, on rummaging around, I noticed that they are also offering the S700i for free on the same tariff (O2 200 + 50 SMS @ £30/month). What`s more, the S700i comes with a free Sony Ericsson HBH-660 bluetooth headset worth at least £65 (of course, P4U claim it`s worth £99.99 but that`s just bunkum).
