JFK and Any Given Sunday are the two disc versions, BTW.

Got this from WHSmith a year or so ago for £30, so £15 is well worth it :)

Excellent spot :)
Have just ordered "Dirty Harry" 5-disc collection for £15.99 (£17.99 less £2.00 voucher)
(costs £35 to £50 if you compare through Kelkoo)
Never heard of them before, are they new?, hope they are reliable

According to many on the thread on `retailer reviews`, Blah may be the reincarnation of Splash. I never used Splash and have not used Blah before - I hope they are OK.

Just to reinforce the point about Blah being Splash reincarnated, I received a bulk email today from Blah to an email address previously used by Splash.

Rearrange this well known phrase or saying :.....

" Bargepole not a with "

Even if Blah is Splash reincarnated, they have already shipped my order, so they can`t be condemned as slow. Even so I am reserving judgement until I have received working DVDs.

The DVD was shipped on the 4th and arrived today in good condition. Both DVD`s I have ordered have been promptly shipped well packaged and at excellent prices. Does that sound like Splash?

I refer visitors to the comments made by a rep from Blah DVD earlier this year :

Quote:
Hi everyone

I am the sales & marketing manager for blahdvd.com. There has been much speculation recently about possible connections between us and the former Splash website. I would like to take this opportunity to assure all of your members that there is not (and has never been) any connection whatsoever between the two Companies, nor their Directors. By coincidence the two Companies use the same accountancy firm for their registered offices, hence the (mistaken) claim we were trading from the same premises etc.

I see that Jersey trading standards have made a statement supporting these facts, so now I hope that those interested will be assured that this is the case.

We are a new Company with a new website and much work to do over the coming months. We are working hard to offer the best service possible, with an interesting site and competitive prices.

I hope that this helps clear things up. If any members have anything to add I will be happy to respond where appropriate through this forum, and should you choose to visit our site I hope you receive excellent service. (If not, let me know!) pleh[at]moc.dvdhalb attn. GF

Sincerely,

Gerard Farnham
