Page 1 of Ex Rental DVDs £5.99 for two at Blockbusters

Rental copies of videos may not be a good idea, but the DVDs are excellent - especially when they still have the special features.

Titles include Solaris, Johnny English, The Two Towers (2 disc) and Daredevil (2 disc). Under £3 each true bargain and fingerprints come off easily.

I reckon everyone`s there now... ;)

HULK and City of God for £7.99 BOGOF

Ours wasn`t two for £5.99, it was buy one get one free (lowest priced free). They were mostly £7.99 with some £5.99 and a couple of £2.99 ones. Not much to choose from in ours, but we got Extreme Ops, and Dumb & Dumberer both for £7.99

The boxes are like new, and the disk on Extreme Ops is like new too, the other one only has a couple of smallish marks on it. :)

They seem to put new disks out every so often. Thankfully lots of Blockbusters in the area. The Tonbridge one had plenty in the BOGOF offer - £5.99s for 2. Surprised to see so many rental onlys have the extras. They have been doing Jeepers Creepers 2 for some time. Luckily they seem to do this offer on the popular titles - not just the fillers.

No complaints so far, and a good chance when I am in to scan the X box titles.

I keep going in my local blockbuster (Cosham), looking for these bargains and they don`t exist :(

lots of titles at £7.99 for 2, and a few at £5.99 for 2 but all of them crap. No City of God, no Daredevil, No Hulk etc, etc. They had Xmen 2, but wanted £12.99 for it (ex rental too) bloody cheek >:(

Best deal I`ve seen was 3 for 19.98 (terminator 3,matrix reloaded, charlies angels 2) and the discs had so many scratches, they looked like they`d been played on an old fashioned hi-fi turntable. Still played ok thankfully, otherwise I`d have taken them straight back.

It was the same at my local store but they did have a single Hulk disc and no £5.99 ones...

That came to 27.97 for 5 more or less recent and good movies.
Added to that 2 tubs of Haagen Dazs for a fiver :D

You can get good deals in there if you look hard enough. The discs are all in reasonably good condition.
