TeeJays DVDs

I bought a couple of films from www.teejaysdvds.co.uk (region 1) - they have very good service, only thing is that you pay by cheque and films are shipped the day after they receive it.
Plus when you`ve bought 10 - you get one free - Only 8 to go!!!!!

Cheap prices, but the site looks like it`s being run by a shoolboy from his bedroom! I think I`ll stick to play247.

Cheers anyway.

Who cares what the site looks like as long as the service is quick and reliable.
I ordered from this site also and the customer service was very friendly and professional and I received my dvds 3days after sending my cheque. They could do with a credit card facility though i suppose but lets face it how long does it take to write a cheque and post it on the way to work??

longer than it takes you to enter your credit card details on a web site!

Sorry DaveThe Rave,

I know I shouldn`t judge a book by it`s cover. It`s just that the site looked a bit naff, and I didn`t know if a lot of people have had positive experiences.

Still won`t be using them though, unfortunate that they don`t have a credit card purchase sytem.

thats ok JE no need to apologise,
these forums are here so that people can air their views .
Just thought it was worth mentioning so that people are aware that they have a loyalty scheme (11th dvd free) that I fully intend to make full use of.Granted the site isn`t much to look at but the site was mentioned to me by my mate and he`s been using them for the last 8 months or so for all of his region 1 stuff. He`s had no problems apart from deliveries over the christmas period that took a few weeks (back to a few days again now though)

I too have used these and i have to agree with DaveThe Rave - the service is brilliant and i haven`t had any problems with my orders.
The prices are cheap too and the Free DVDs are a nice little touch (don`t see that at Play!).
The downer is the payment, but you are welcome to pay more - example - Buy disc for £17, send £50 - they will hold the £33 for you like a credit account, then you can buy your next disc without doing anything, i suppose you have to be able to afford that though!

I know i won`t be leaving TeeJays until they close down (hopefully never), play are good but TeeJays are better

Peace and Nuff respect

The site sure does look dodgy though. Not much info on the dvd is there? Plus there is no search engine. Im not so sure about this site. i think i`ll stick to http://www.dvdboxoffice.com for now thanks
