LABGEAR TV AMPLIFIER???

colseddon (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 15th July 2003, 11:31

SEEN THIS FOR £24.99 in ARGOS,

as well as 4-way amplifier you also get a 25metre co-axiel cable and clips etc etc.

WHAT I WAS WONDERING IS THIS COMPATIBLE WITH THE TV-LINK SYSTEM.

THE TV-LINK SAYS IT MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH SOME BOOSTERS/AMPLIFIERS

ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS. I KNOW TVLINK.CO.UK SELL THEIR OWN AMPLIFIERS BUT I DON`T REALLY WANT THEIRS!!

If no idea can anyone recommend any other four way amplifiers that they know are compatible with the tv-link.

THANKS IN ADVANCE. Col.

Standard TV Amplifiers will not work because of the sensitivity of the voltage of the TV link.

The only ones that I have seen that do work are the SLX range - which you can get from maplin or other electrical stores. (i.e. SLX 4X)

If you go to maplin.co.uk, they have a bargain at 19-99 for the 4-way SLX Booster that is definately compatible.

Good Luck,

Aez
