I just got a NF-1500MA TFT MONITOR for £149, from a local PC warehouse place called EMIT it is run by TIME but dont worry its not a TIME product i think it is an american product i found this site with it on http://www.nfren.com.
Matthew, where are these PC warehouses ??
Can you order online ??
Looks like a nice screen for the money, cheers ..
****WARNING****
Please do not buy any products from Time`s EMIT outlet. The items for sale are all "cast-off" items which don`t pass Time`s quality control - they`re bunged in the EMIT outlet and sold as seen - you have no comeback at a later date if anything goes wrong!!
It seems perfecty to me and they said if anything went wrong just take it back. I dont think you can buy online. There is only a store at Padiham in Burnley as far as i know.
The EMIT store is at Time`s head office in Simonstone, Burnley (outskirts of Padiham)... believe me I know what I`m talking about in regards to EMIT and the PC products they have in stock - I used to work for Time!!
you get a manufacturers warranty though

Geezus! If even Time think they are not good enough quality, just how bad must they be!
EXACTLY!!!
And as far as I know there are no manufacturer`s warranties with EMIT bought products either - all the PC parts sold through EMIT are items which have been bought wholesale by Time for inclusion in their PC packages - not for their "Computer World" stores. And as such have no 2nd-user manufacturer`s warranties...

For the record companies are not allowed to sell anything, that is "sold as seen" this is especially true of electronic goods. If you don`t belive me pop down to your local trading standards office and have a word with them.
EMIT is not technically a "shop" as such more of a second-hand store/car boot shop... and how much come back do you get buying 2nd hand goods???
Even I bought a TV tuner card from EMIT when I worked at Time `cause I thought it was cheap - took it home it didn`t work. Took it back next day, the reply was: "Nowt we can do, sorry, you bought it as seen"
