Page 1 of Friends dvds cheapest yet!!

Woolworths in Exeter (not sure about elsewhere) are doing friends dvds BOGOF, nothing special you say?

But they are only £9.99 each so each dvd costs £5!! I bought series 2+3 for £30!!

No neccesarily the cheapest, but in my view the best option, I got friends season 2 today for £25. There are many advantages of this region 1 set making it superior.

1. Picture quality is better remastered and looks better.
2. Sound is a good remastered Dolby Digital 5.0 as opposed to the dolby stereo you get on the region 2 version.
3. Entire season comes on 4 single sided, dual layered picture discs as opposed to the double sided flippers u get on region 2.
4. Package brilliantly presented in a digi pack and not those annoying snapper cases. The digipack case has lots of info including synopsis of each episode, date it was originally aired and any special guest stars.
5. Special features:
Audio commentary on 2 eps,
Open house at monica and rachel`s interactive map,
Friends of friends video guestbook,
Trivia Quiz
Smelly Cat music video uncut and never before seen,
Character Bios.
6. Well its just so good that I thought it deserves a 6 :o)

It is expensiver than current UK prices because it is not on special offer.
Anyway 25 for 4 discs is just over £6 a disc. It is worth it.

Hi, Im really keen on swapping all my reg 2 friends dvds for the reg1 boxsets, where did u find it for £25? Was that delivered? Do u get whacked by customs? Help if you can! Cheers!

Hi I got mine from http://www.dvdsoon.com not sure whether they still got it in stock or not. Mines shipped on the day i ordered and came to my doorstep 6 days later with no grubby customs fingers on them. I think i may sell my season 1 ones and get the region 1 as well. If they sell for about £4 each, then thats only another £13 i`d have to pay.

Actually ive just checked my statement now and it came to just over £26
