Heading says it all really. This price is as cheap as some websites and cheaper than some others. By the way I mean the stores not the website.

I believe that Sue was referring to the delivery charge if you order from WH Smith Online.

£15.99 is the cheapest price for the R2 anywhere, but you can get the R1 for around £14 from AB Sound or Amazon in Canada, or the R4 for around £15 from EzyDVD or Chaos DVD.

If your local WH Smith has a 10% off evening (most do at this time of the year), you could pick up the R2 for £14.39 - not to be sniffed at!

Why is this disc so expensive?

I find it hard to believe that e-tailers are unable to offer a cheaper price.

The RRP is £24.99 and Fox probably decided to charge that to try and make lots of money.

This is the same company that tried to charge between £25 and £30 for a pretty naff disc of Titanic all those years ago (no extras, non-anamorphic transfer) so it`s no great surprise that they bump the RRP for a 2 disc set.

It`s the same RRP as the Star Wars discs.

Is this the Fox that are currently giving away thousands of free DVD`s to both legitimate users and to those scoundrals who have claimed for all and sundry?

£24.99 is expensive but tell me who is actually selling it at that price?

Band of Brothers (NO DTS) is a rip off even at £45 `net price, particuarly as it is on tV every five minutes!!!!!
