Page 1 of Razor Blades and Dishwasher Tablets..........

Was in Tesco the other day and it dawned on me how expensive the above items are.

Specifically i want to buy Gillette Excel Razor blades which are normally about £5 for 5 blades. Also those Finish Powerball Tablets are well expensive (but bloody good) - anyone know where i can buy these and similar items for, like er... well cheap???

Being an ex-student. These are cheap at Wilkinson`s. www.wilko.co.uk for your nearest store.Is this a general Bargain`s forum or just dvd related?

If you have a branch near you, I suspect you won`t beat the price CostCo charge for razorblades.

They have 20 packs of Gillette Mach 3 blades for £12.99 plus VAT (£15, give or take). Buy them in Boots or Superdrug and you usually pay around £8.50 to £9 for 8 of them.

There`s a lot of dross in CostCo, but there are some real bargains too if you can be arsed to look for them.

John Lewis are very cheap, normally up to half the price of Boots on most things.

Seen the finish tablets in macro today £9.99 for 100 or buy 2 for £7.50 each got vat to add onto those prices though

Makro have been good for the Mach3 blades as well, similar price to CostCo.
