If you buy the X-Box from Argos they are currently doing a deal where you get 2 free games (Sega GT 2002 and Jet Set Radio Future) + £30.00 in Argos vouchers all for £158. You can then redeem the vouchers for an extra controller at £24.99p. Hard to beat me thinks

That £24.99 with the vouchers or before? If after... then you`re being ripped off.

???

I think he means that you get £30 free vouchers with the console, which you can then use to buy the controller at £24.99. Leaving you with a £5 gift voucher and 1p change.

Even if the controller is expensive it is still a good deal
X-box
2 -games
extra controller
£5 voucher
1p for sweet!

Hey megalomaniacs,

This weekend if you spend over £50 you get an extra £5 voucher and if you spend over £100 you get a £10 voucher so the deal is even better :o)

My message to Argos: Doom on you! Doom on you! Doom on you!

By the way, JSRF and the Sega game are on one disc so I would hazzard a guess that they are just pormotional (cut-down) games. The dseal finishes next Sunday but is better than most as you will still get £20 vouchers (the other £10 was for order today of over £100).

Can anyone confirm on the games?

Did you not see my post? Its the standard Sega/xbox deal that is happening in all games shops, but has nothing to do with vouchers. You get an xbox, extra controller and JSRF & sega GT 2000 both on one disc. My local GAME has it too for £159.

"Did you not see my post?"

Dis you not read my post? .....

Yes I did see your post, but I was making two points which I will have to spell out for you.

1) Argos will give you £20 vouchers (+ an extra £10 if you bought the bundle this w/e FOR spending over £100). This meant that you could have either bought a controller, a game for around £15, or something altoghether different. This makes the deal better than most places as you do get more for your money. So, if you wanted to buy, you were better off getting it this weekend. Argos are still doing this deal until next Sunday (but with only £20 voucher) so, in effect, an ectra controller will cost £4.99 with the vouchers.

2) The 2 games are only on one disc, this would indicate that they are NOT the full releases. CAN ANYONE CONFIRM... I know that the games are in the bundles no matter where you go, but what is missing from the games themselves? Does themoney justify it?
